Sustainable Agriculture Foundation (SAF-A) is seeking a proactive and organized Project Coordinator to support for a short-term engagement of five (5) months. This role will play a key role in coordinating project implementation, managing partner engagements, supporting reporting and compliance, and contributing to ongoing fundraising initiatives.


This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual with a background in development, agriculture, or climate-related programming to gain hands-on experience within a pan-African team driving systems change across agricultural and rural development sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: Support the planning, execution, and tracking of CRIFS project activities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate internal and external meetings, follow-up actions. and relationship management with partners and donors.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Compile and submit high-quality narrative and financial progress reports, ensuring timely integration of KPIs and donor requirements.
  • Budget Oversight: Track project expenditures, support financial reconciliations, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Resource Mobilization: Contribute to proposal writing, workplans, and funding concept development as needed.
  • Compliance: Uphold contractual and regulatory obligations, including donor, legal, and institutional standards.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Development Studies, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project coordination or management within the development or agriculture sector.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, including donor reporting and proposal development
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace).
